2,832 Registry Errors on My New PC?
I bought a new Dell Studio XPS laptop with an Intel T9600 cpu and 6 gigs of ram and Windows 7 Professional on November 13 of 2009. My hope was Microsoft finally solved the problem with the registry file becoming bloated and corrupted with Windows 7. Unfortunately it appears the problem has not gone away.
What I don't understand is, "Why do we have to even think about the registry file?" Most pc users don't even know the registry file exists, and they shouldn't have to know. Registry cleaning software should be built into the Windows operating system and should maintain the registry file by itself. Your PC should not slow down just because you use it, but unfortunately, it does.
I noticed my laptop starting to slow down after about 9 months of use. I have no doubt that if my processor was a slower version, I would have noticed the slow down much earlier. The computer was still stable but response time had slowed a lot.
I scanned my registry file on November 25th, 2010 with Registry Easy. See the screen shot from my scan. I was very surprised to find so 2,832 errors in the registry file. After the scan my pc performance improved. Click response is much faster with all applications. I was very frustrated with Outlook. After the registry was repaired Outlook is operating like new again.
